‘I Will Find You’ Teaser: Sam Worthington Stars In New Netflix Drama Premiering On June 18

At this point in his career, Sam Worthington is best known for his role as Jake Sully in the “Avatar” franchise. But he remains busy with other projects, including Kevin Costner‘s “Horizon” films, and supporting roles in stuff like John Woo‘s recent remake of “The Killer.”

Worthington stars next in his first TV role since “Under The Banner Of Heaven” in the Netflix drama “I Will Find You.” In the series, the actor stars as a father wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of his own son, who receives information that his child may still be alive. You know what that means — a prison breakout, and a fugitive search to discover the truth.

Here’s an official synopsis for “I Will Find You,” courtesy of Netflix:

An innocent father serving life for the murder of his own son receives evidence that his child may still be alive—and must break out of prison to find out the truth. 

Along with Worthington, “I Will Find You” also stars Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards, Chi McBride, and Jonathan Tucker. Guest stars on the series include Hugh Thompson, Peter Outerbridge, Christopher Redman, Eric Johnson, Greg Bryk, Kate Vernon, Tara Rosling, Darrin Baker, Aaron Ashmore, Nicola Correia-Damude, Rachel Wilson, Billy MacLellan, Clancy Brown, and Madeleine Stowe.

Robert Hull serves as creator, showrunner, writer, and executive producer on “I Will Find You.” Other executive producers include Harlan Coben, Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, John Weber, and Brad Anderson, with John G. Lenic and Heather Mitchell also on board as co-executive producers. John Marby serves as a supervising producer, with Eric Guggenheim as a consulting producer, and Desmond Paes and Zoe Cheng as producers.

Directors on the series include Brad Anderson, Maja Vrvilo, Adam Davidson, and Maggie Kelly. Other writers on the show beyond Hull include Wynbrandt, Lilien, and Mitchell.
