Hulu has shared with us a new trailer for their upcoming limited series “The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox,” a dramatic re-telling of the events of the infamous American murder suspect, who was wrongfully convicted of killing her roommate in Italy and was ultimately released after spending nearly four years in prison.
The show debuts next month with Grace Van Patten starring as Knox with a supporting cast that features Sharon Horgan, John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico, and Roberta Mattei.
“The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox” hails from 20th Television in association with The Littlefield Company with series creator KJ Steinberg (“This Is Us”) also executive producing alongside Warren Littlefield, Lisa Harrison, Ann Johnson, and Graham Littlefield (The Littlefield Company); Monica Lewinsky (Alt Ending Productions); Knox and Chris Robinson through Knox Robinson Productions; and lastly Michael Uppendahl, who also directs episodes.

Van Patten, who was hired to replace Margaret Qualley in the Knox role, has appeared in “Under The Silverlake,” the Nicole Kidman-led wellness guru series “Nine Perfect Strangers,” and Cary Joji Fukunaga‘s sci-fi series “Maniac.”
