It’s a new year. And for 2021, we all want the year to go much smoother than 2020, right? Well, it appears that Harry Styles is thinking the same thing. Thus, the new music video for “Treat People with Kindness” has a guest star that should make everyone happy—Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
That’s right, in Styles’ newest music video, the singer is joined by comedic actress-writer Waller-Bridge to help dance in the new year with a thoroughly entertaining clip. In the video, we see Styles doing what he does best—dancing and singing and generally looking suave as he does it. Then you have little bits and pieces of Waller-Bridge here and there, culminating in Styles bringing her on stage for one final dance. And while Waller-Bridge isn’t perhaps the best dancer in the world, she acquits herself well enough (and she’s just always so damn charming) that it doesn’t take away from the sheer joy of seeing the “Fleabag” star on screen.
And it really has been a minute since we’ve seen Waller-Bridge in some sort of role, right? After the end of “Fleabag” (RIP), Waller-Bridge has really hung around behind the scenes, helping write the script for the upcoming Bond film, “No Time to Die,” while also launching a new series that she produced, “Run,” for HBO. She’s also shown up in a voice role in the most recent season of “His Dark Materials.” But as for “Fleabag” Season 3? Still just a pipedream at this point.
