Obviously, Krasinski is known for more than just “Jack Ryan.” As an actor, he’s appeared in projects such as “A Quiet Place,” “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” and “IF.” As a filmmaker, Krasinski has directed the first two “A Quiet Place” films, as well as the aforementioned “IF.” Interestingly, he didn’t direct any episodes of “Jack Ryan.”

Rhys, on the other hand, is probably best known for his work on the TV show, “The Americans.” He also starred in the series, “Perry Mason.” On the film side of things, he’s shown up in projects such as “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” “Cocaine Bear,” and “Saturday Night.”

It’s unclear when production on “Silent River” will begin.
