Alright, now that you’ve been sufficiently warned, let’s get to it. Remember those rumors about Deadpool making an appearance in “Logan“? Well, that’s not happening, but you will see the foul-mouthed character in multiplexes this weekend.
Slashfilm reveals that a teaser for “Deadpool 2” will play before “Logan,” and for right now, it’ll be in cinemas only. They have the full breakdown of what happens in it if you really want to know, but it’s less a traditional trailer, and more like an extended scene (which will feature a cameo of sorts as well). And the additional trailer makes sense given the recent revelation that 20th Century Fox quietly added a few minutes to the running time of “Logan.” Guess we now know what it’s for.
So, show up early to your screening of “Logan” this weekend, and be sure to sit through the trailers, because it looks like you’ll be getting something very special.
