Peacock is lining up a first look at its new dramedy series, “The Miniature Wife”, starring and executive produced by Elizabeth Banks (“Pitch Perfect”, “The Hunger Games”) and Matthew Macfadyen (“Succession”, “Deadpool & Wolverine”). The streamer is preparing an official teaser, first-look imagery and a premiere-date reveal for the show.
Based on the short story by Manuel Gonzales, “The Miniature Wife” examines power imbalances within a marriage after a technological accident triggers the ultimate relationship crisis between spouses Lindy and Les, played by Banks and Macfadyen (Think, “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids,” but it’s your spouse instead). The series follows their increasingly fraught dynamic once that experiment literally changes the scale of the relationship.
