Ricky Gervais fans are in for a special treat this year. The comic actor is bringing David Brent back with the upcoming "Life On The Road" — but first, he’s headed to Netflix for a new film that will hopefully be a better feature-length outing than the other efforts that have seen him take a lead role (we’re looking at you, "Ghost Town.")
Co-starring Eric Bana, Vera Farmiga, Kelly Macdonald, Kevin Pollak, America Ferrera, Raúl Castillo, and Benjamin Bratt, the story follows a couple of radio reporters who spin a wild story from overseas….from the comfort of New York City. Here’s the official synopsis:
The film is about a struggling New York based radio journalist whose arrogance and decadent lifestyle has hindered his career. With his job on the line, he fakes front line war reports from the comfort of his hideout above a Spanish restaurant in Queens.
