Watch: Wes Anderson, Ralph Fiennes & Cast Of ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ In 50 Minute Berlinale Press Conference

Grand Budapest Hotel

Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest” is now out there in the world, and it’s a grand, funny, ambitious and even a little melancholy look back to a day and age that no longer exists. Director Wes Anderson, along with cast members Ralph Fiennes, Ed Norton, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Saorise Ronan, and Tony Revlori attended the press conference this morning at the 2014 Berlin Film Festival and thanks to the wonders of technology, you can check it out right at home.

The highlights of the 50-minute press meet ‘n greet include Murray ribbing Anderson for flying him all over the world for just a few minutes of work (a week in Paris for 20 minutes of voice-over work in “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” a month in India during his two day shoot for “The Darjeeling Limited” for example), Tilda Swinton taking a moment to call Bong Joon Ho’s “Snowpiercer” (which screens tomorrow evening) “a masterpiece” (and basically anything Swinton tends to be awesome) and of course Anderson talked about the movie’s paramount literary and cinematic influences, which we dove into earlier

The full press conference has come online, and you can watch it full right here (we’ll add an embed when one becomes available). “The Grand Budapest Hotel” opens on March 7th. Read our review here.
