Woody Allen is like a little neurotic, Jewish Energizer bunny. With "To Rome With Love" in the bag and set for release this summer, his calendar is no less full, with a starring role in John Turturro's "Fading Gigolo" around the corner, and a Broadway bound "Bullets Over Broadway" in the works. And though his next film isn't slated to shoot until early 2013, Allen is apparently already eyeballing a cast.
Deadline reports that Allen wants Cate Blanchett and Bradley Cooper to take roles in the currently untitled movie. And well, that's about it. A couple of weeks ago, it was said that the director was considering Copenhagen as the setting for his Euro backed film, but Munich has also been in the mix and we're sure there is no shortage of cities and countries willing to extend very generous tax and production incentives to land Allen and the inevtiable bevy of stars he'll bring for this next project. As usual, there are zero plot details.
For Blanchett and Cooper, it will be an opportunity to scratch Allen off their director wish list and be a rite of passage that many stars in Hollywood have taken. But there is still lots of time to go, so we'll see how the final cast eventually shakes out.
