You Have To Carry Me: New Clip From 'Rust And Bone' With Marion Cotillard & Matthias Schoenaerts

nullAs we noted in our review from the Cannes Film Festival, blood and water are two elements that flow freely in Jacques Audiard's "Rust And Bone," and these elements carry with them some of the more dramatic moments in the film. This new clip from the upcoming picture is a prelude to one of the more memorable sequences in the picture.

Starring Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts, who both give knock out performances, the story follows Stephanie, a marine park animal trainer, and Alain, a homeless single father, who forge a unique and unlikely bond that is tested and runs deeper when the former is injured in a horrific accident. Alain is essentially Stephanie's ray of light in a situation that has altered her life seemingly irrevocably, a support system that allows her to break out of her shell of depression. And in his scene, the simple piece of dialogue, "You have to carry me," says a lot about their relationship.

"Rust And Bone" opens in limited release starting November 23rd. Watch below.
