11 TV Shows To Watch In July: ‘Too Much,’ ‘Sandman,’ ‘Foundation’ & More

The ambitious Apple TV+ science-fiction series “Foundation” returns for its third season, based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov. Season 3 takes place 152 years following the events of season two, as The Foundation strengthens in influence while the Cleonic Dynasty’s Empire has dwindled. The story follows the two as they strike an uneasy alliance. Jared Harris, Lee Pace, star Lou Llobell, Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann, and Rowena King will all return. 
Release Date: Season 3 premieres on Apple TV+ on July 11. 

Such Brave Girls”
The bleakly funny British comedy “Such Brave Girls” makes its U.S. debut on Netflix after a successful run on the BBC. Created by and starring Kat Sadler alongside her real-life sister Lizzie Davidson, the series follows two chaotic sisters and their emotionally volatile mother (Louise Brealey) as they claw their way through trauma, therapy, and dating apps with razor-sharp wit and unapologetic messiness. Directed by Simon Bird (“The Inbetweeners”), the show delivers a bracing mix of dark humor and millennial disaffection.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres July 12 on Netflix.

The Summer I Turned Pretty” 
The coming-of-age adaptation “The Summer I Turned Pretty” returns for its third and final season. Based on the YA trilogy from author Jenny Han, the series follows Belly Conklin, who, caught up in a love triangle with two brothers competing for her affections, must make a final, definitive choiceLola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno star. 
Release Date: Season 3 premieres July 16 on Prime Video.

Untamed
Netflix’s latest supernatural thriller, “Untamed,” dives into a haunting Appalachian mythos, where ancestral curses and modern secrets intertwine. Created by Sarah Streicher (“The Wilds”) and directed in part by Karyn Kusama, the series follows a reclusive wildlife biologist (played by Riley Keough) whose return to her rural hometown uncovers a string of eerie animal attacks—and something far more sinister lurking beneath the forest canopy. The cast includes Brian Tyree Henry, Kaitlyn Dever, and Lance Reddick in one of his final roles.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres July 10 on Netflix.
