“Eden”
Ron Howard assembles a strong, eclectic cast for his new survival thriller, “Eden,” based on the script from Noah Pink. The film follows a group of people looking for significant changes who travel to the Galapagos, leaving behind the comforts of their everyday lives. Jude Law, Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Sydney Sweeney, Daniel Brühl, Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace, and Richard Roxburgh star.

“Honey Don’t!”
Following the release of 2024’s “Drive Away Dolls,” Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke reteam for the second in their “lesbian B-movie trilogy” with “Honey Don’t!” Coen directs with a script co-written by him and Cooke, with Margaret Qualley returning to this universe. Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans also star in the film, which follows a private detective investigating a woman’s death and how it is connected to a religious cult.

“Ne Zha II”
A24 takes a stab at animation, distributing “Ne Zha II” with an English dub following it’s historic success upon its initial international release. The film, written and directed by Jiaozi and a direct sequel to the 2019 “Ne Zha,” became the highest-grossing animated film. The English voice cast includes Crystal Lee, Alexs Le, Michelle Yeoh, Vincent Rodriguez III, and Damien Haas, and follows Ne Zha following a major sacrifice where he must carry the spirit of his friend with him before fighting the evil Master Shen.

“Splitsville”
Dakota Johnson stars in another film about tackling the woes of modern relationships in the comedy “Splitsville.” Directed by Michael Angelo Covino (“The Climb”) – who also stars in the film – the story follows two couples who deal with the fallout when the husband of the divorcing couple sleeps with the wife of the open marriage couple. Kyle Marvin and Adria Arjona also star.
Release Date: In theaters August 25 via NEON.
“Relay”
Riz Ahmed stars in the latest from filmmaker David Mackenzie (“Hell or High Water,” “Starred Up”) as Tom, a “fixer” who brokers payoffs on behalf of corrupt corporations. Written by Justin Piasecki, the film follows Tom’s journey as he encounters a new potential client who needs his protection. Lily James and Sam Worthington also star.
