‘Bullet Train’: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Joins Brad Pitt In David Leitch’s Upcoming Action Film

One of the most anticipated films that’s about to enter production right now is “Bullet Train,” directed by “Hobbs & Shaw” and “Deadpool 2” filmmaker David Leitch. Not only is it a big deal because of Leitch’s involvement, but it also marks a new action film led by Brad Pitt, who doesn’t just star in bad films. And now, another major player has joined, making our excitement for the thriller grow even more.

According to Deadline, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the latest person to join the cast of Leitch’s “Bullet Train.” The film tells the story of a, uh, bullet train that is housing four assassins on a mission. Brad Pitt is obviously one of the assassins, with the recently announced Joey King also in the ranks. Now, we have Taylor-Johnson, coming off his role in “Tenet” counting as assassin #3.

In addition to his work in “Tenet,” Taylor-Johnson is probably best known for his starring role in the “Kick-Ass” franchise, as well as films such as “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Outlaw King,” and the recently released “A Million Little Pieces.” He’s also set for a role in the COVID-delayed action film, “The King’s Man,” which reunites him with his “Kick-Ass” filmmaker, Matthew Vaughn.

A release date has yet to be given for “Bullet Train,” but production is expected to begin soon. Hopefully, that means we could expect the film sometime in 2021.
