Dakota Johnson Joins Cast Of 'Am I Ok?' From Filmmakers Tig Notaro & Stephanie Allynne

Dakota Johnson might be a liar when it comes to her love of limes (how can this ever be forgiven?), but she’s also an incredibly talented actress. So, even though she is now on record as a noted hater of limes, we are still allowed to be excited when she’s announced as a star in a new project, such as the upcoming film, “Am I Ok?

According to Variety, Johnson is set to join the ensemble cast for the upcoming film, “Am I Ok?” The feature, which Johnson is also a producer on, is set to become the debut for directors Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne. The film tells the story of two lifelong friends that find their relationship thrown for a loop when one of them reveals that she’s leaving to go take a job in London, which leads to the other revealing a deeply guarded secret.

Joining Johnson in the cast are Sonoya Mizuno, Jermaine Fowler, Whitmer Thomas, Molly Gordon, June Diane Raphael, Sean Hayes, and Notaro.

Johnson is currently working on the upcoming feature “The Lost Daughter,” which is written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. She also has projects such as “Rodeo Queen” and the TV series, “Cult Following,” on her slate. Her most recent film, “Our Friend,” recently debuted in select theaters and VOD.

There’s no word when “Am I Ok?” will begin production, but with this cast and filmmakers on board, this is a feature that we’re going to eagerly anticipate.
