Elizabeth Olsen Denies ‘House Of The Dragon’ Rumors: “I Can’t Even Think Of How Random That Is”

When you’re someone like Elizabeth Olsen, a respected actress who has not shied away from being in franchise projects, you’re likely going to be the subject of all sorts of cast rumors for big projects. And lo and behold, there are recent rumors floating around that Olsen might show up in a future season of HBO’sGame of Thrones” spinoff series, “House of the Dragon.” But according to Olsen, that’s definitely not happening. 

Speaking to Variety, Elizabeth Olsen was asked about the rumors that she and Henry Cavill are set to appear on future episodes of “House of the Dragon.” Not only does she think that’s a ridiculous rumor, but she can’t even wrap her head around how it even got started.

“No, I haven’t seen that rumor! But I’m up to date on ‘House of the Dragon,’” said Olsen. She went on to say that it’s not true and added, “Also, how random. Why him? Why me? I can’t even think of how random that is. I don’t even know that guy, either!”

So, if you’re a huge fan of ‘Thrones’ and ‘Dragon’ and were hoping that Wanda Maximoff, aka The Scarlet Witch, was going to show up to cause mayhem in Westeros, you’re out of luck. And not only is she denying the rumor, but she’s also not even being coy about it in her typical “I work for Marvel Studios” way.

That said, if you want to see more of Elizabeth Olsen, her next project is “Love & Death,” which is expected to hit TV screens soon. And she probably will show up in a future Marvel Studios project, even though her character seemingly ended her storyline in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
