‘Frankenstein,’ ‘Hedda,’ ‘Sinners,’ ‘Andor’ & ‘The Gilded Age’ Among 2026 Costume Design Guild Awards Nominees

Let the guild awards commence! The Costume Designers Guild of America announced the nominees for the 28th CDG Awards, and there were, sadly, few surprises. On the film side, “Hedda,” “Frankenstein,” “Bugonia,” “Hamnet,” “Sinners,” and last year’s Oscar winner, Paul Tazewell for “Wicked for Good,” were nominated across three genre categories. The television nominees rewarded all four 2025 costume design Emmy winners, including “Andor,” “The Studio,” “The Traitors,” and “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” as well as “Murderbot,” “Palm Royale,” and “Wednesday,” among others.
