The composer, who already has a trophy on his shelf for “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” has done it all from monster movie “Godzilla” to Jonathan Glazer‘s intimate “Birth,” and with “The Shape Of Water” he once again displays the tremendous talent that makes him one of the most sought after names in the industry.
In this exclusive featurette, Alexandre Desplat shares his rewarding experiencing working on del Toro’s beautiful fantasy romance. The director, meanwhile, relates just how vital Desplat’s work was to the success of the picture, and his unique talent for finding the exact emotion needed for any given scene.
