Michael Edwards (a.k.a Eddie) is a British sports phenomenon, so it’s only fitting that the international trailer differs quite a bit from the U.S. version. The latest domestic promo to drop sells a lot more of the inspirational angle of the based-on-a-true-story tale directed by Dexter Fletcher ("Wild Bill," "Sunshine On Leith"), and I don’t know, as cornball as this might look, it’s beginning to have an effect on me.

Led by Taron Egerton ("Kingsman: The Secret Service") and Hugh Jackman, the film follows the plucky adventures of Eddie who just wants to compete at the Olympics. He’s determined as hell, and taken under the wing of a rogue former champion, he goes down the hard road of realizing his dreams. Here’s the official synopsis:
