Nicholas Stoller knows comedy, as the director behind "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Get Him To The Greek," "The Five-Year Engagement," "Neighbors," and next year’s "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising." Indeed, he’s been busy as somewhere he’s found the time to co-direct and write his first animated movie, "Storks," and the debut trailer has arrived.
Filmmaking duos Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, are among the producers for the flick which features the voices of Andy Samberg, Kelsey Grammer, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jordan Peele, and uses the premise of storks delivering babies to tell an inventive family adventure. Here’s the synopsis:
Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet giant Cornerstore.com. Junior, the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorized baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.
"Storks" opens on September 23, 2016. Watch below.
