Watch: Werner Herzog Explores A.I. In New Trailer For Sundance Doc 'Lo And Behold: Reveries Of The Connected World'

Lo And Behold, Reveries Of The Connected WorldIs there life between of the one and zeroes of our digital world? Werner Herzog, no stranger to going to the unknown in his documentaries, tackles a different kind of world in his wonderfully titled new documentary, "Lo And Behold: Reveries Of The Connected World." And the film’s new trailer asks some provocative questions.

Artificial intelligence is largely seen as an inevitability, but ‘Lo And Behold’ ponders what if it’s already here, perhaps lurking between our tweets? Certainly, it wouldn’t be obliged to let us know of its existence, nor, even if we did become aware of a fully formed robot with emotions and thoughts, have to follow our commands. Or, to borrow a line from the film’s synopsis: Does the internet dream of itself?

We’ll find out when ‘Lo And Behold’ debuts at Sundance, which kicks off this week. Watch below. [Deadline]
