Got a Tip?

Joel Kinnaman Will Spend An ‘All Nighter’ With Liam Neeson & Adam Driver Joins ‘This Is Where I Leave You’

nullA couple casting updates with some leading men that we’re fond of around these parts, so let’s roll up our sleeves and get right into it…

The Killing” star and future “RoboCopJoel Kinnaman has joined the latest Liam Neeson-punching-people movie, “All Nighter.” Formerly titled “Run All Night” (both generic names if you ask us),  the Brad Ingelsby (the upcoming “Out Of The Furnace” with Christian Bale and Casey Affleck)-penned thriller will find Neeson playing a mob hitman who has to take on his boss, protect his family and go on the run from the authorities with his estranged son, all in a single night. Kinnaman will play his offspring, a chauffeur who witnesses a murder and needs “Taken” Neeson to protect him or something. Jaume Collet-Serra, the helmer behind “Unknown” and Neeson’s forthcoming punching-people-on-an-airplane movie “Non-Stop,” will direct, continuing their De Niro/Scorsese relationship. Filming will get underway this fall.

Meanwhile, “Girls” star Adam Driver — who appeared last fall in “Lincoln” — continues to flesh out his feature film CV. His latest addition is “This Is Where I Leave You,” the upcoming dramedy from Shawn Levy. Starring Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Jane FondaKathryn Hahn and Corey Stoll, the adaptation of Jonathan Tropper‘s novel will follow a dysfunctional family in which the father’s death forces the four grown siblings to spend a week together in the house where they grew up for the first time in a decade. Providing scheduling with the third season shoot of “Girls” works out, Driver will play the rebellious brother of Bateman, Fey and Stoll. [Hollywood Reporter]
