New Poster For Spike Lee’s ‘Oldboy’

nullWe’ve seen some unofficial versions floating around the interwebs, following this intriguing teaser poster launched this spring, and if anything, they’ve stoked curiosity and excitement for Spike Lee‘s remake of Park Chan-wook‘s “Oldboy.” Well, a brand new one-sheet has arrived today and it’s another tantalizing peek at one of the fall’s most fascinating offerings.

Works Adv, in collaboration with Neil Kellerhouse, the man behind memorable posters and designs for “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,” “The Social Network” and more, has put together this latest one sheet that has a bit more to it than meets than eye. First off, the image of Josh Brolin emerging from the chest? That’s a shot from the actual film, and not a composite, while the title script is in the actor’s own handwriting. (We won’t say too much here, but those of you know that already know the story will understand the significance.)

The big question of course is how the film all turned out. Well, you’ll get your first impression on Wednesday when a red-band trailer drops for the movie. “Oldboy” eats it raw on October 25th.null
