'The Biggest Little Farm' Exclusive Clip: A City Couple Dives Headfirst Into Farm Life With Hundreds Of Adorable Animals

Living in the city has its perks, right? You have the convenience of everything you possibly need within walking distance. There’s the culture and excitement all around you. But city life also has its downsides, which lead many to daydream about ditching it all and moving out to the country. Well, for John and Molly Chester (along with Todd, the dog), they did just that and the result is seen in the film “The Biggest Little Farm.”

And in honor of “The Biggest Little Farm” hitting theaters later this week, we are happy to give our readers an exclusive look at the film, and we must admit, this clip might be the most adorable video we’ve ever shared on the site.

In the clip, you see that the Chesters have decided to begin collecting animals for their new farm out in the country. Ducklings, chicks, sheep, and even cute little puppies are shown, as the family attempts to create a new ecosystem with all the different varieties of animals on their property. Let’s be real, there’s nothing cuter than 100 baby ducks. But as we see, when you begin introducing all these animals to life on the farm, it can turn into a bit of chaos, with ducks wandering through your office.

And while this film focuses on the hardships of John and Molly Chester, as they attempt to build their farm, our reviewer said the real star of the film isn’t human, at all, writing, “The film’s MVP, no doubt, is their adorable pig, Emma. Constantly overweight and pregnant, she brings levity to the whole situation, wreaking havoc whenever the Chesters try to instill order in her life (such as her demands of an apple cider vinaigrette on her greens).”

Whether you’re a fan of documentaries, cute animals, farming, or just a beautifully shot film, you’ll probably want to check out “The Biggest Little Farm” when it arrives in theaters on May 10.

Here’s the synopsis:

The Biggest Little Farm follows two dreamers and their beloved dog when they make a choice that takes them out of their tiny L.A. apartment and into the countryside to build one of the most diverse farms of its kind in complete coexistence with nature. The film chronicles their near decade-long attempt to create the utopia they seek, planting 10,000 orchard trees, hundreds of crops, and bringing in animals of every kind – including an unforgettable pig named Emma and her best friend, Greasy the rooster. When the farm’s ecosystem finally begins to reawaken, their plan to create perfect harmony takes a series of wild turns, and to survive they realize they’ll have to reach a far greater understanding of the intricacies and wisdom of nature, and of life itself.
