That said, he wasn’t advocating nicking movies that are legally available, instead saying that it’s an option to view movies that are harder to find via traditional methods. TorrentFreak has released their list of the year’s most pirated movies, and following chart topper “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is Quentin Tarantino’s slavery/revenge flick “Django Unchained.” Some of that data for QT’s film could be due to China’s yanking of the film from theaters earlier this year—the country is one of the biggest markets in the world—leading to widely reported bootlegging of ‘Django’ from fans and cinephiles eager to see the movie.
