Exclusive: Celebrate July 4th With Clip From 'Other Months' Premiering At SXSW Film Festival

Other Months

Sometimes, self-discovery is the most difficult journey to take, but that exploration forms the center of “Other Months,” the feature debut from writer/director Nick Singer.

Starring Christopher Bonewitz, Britannie Bond, Emma Morrison-Cohen, Liam Ahern, David Rudi Utter, Hope Alley and more, the film follows Nash, who returns home to confront his own inertia, after a year spent focused on his work and disillusioning romantic pursuits. Described as “a character study, a visual poem, a headspace, and a feature film,” and divided into three parts, “Other Months” breaks down Nash’s story into distinct themes, settings and tones. And in this exclusive clip, we see Singer’s careful hand at constructing scenes for maximum impact even they are just as simple as watching someone walk back into a house (after setting off some holiday fireworks).

“Other Months” will premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in March. Watch below.
