Got a Tip?

Frank Darabont, Gavin O’Connor & Andy Muschietti In The Mix To Direct ‘Snow White And The Huntsman 2’

Quick! Raise your hand if you’re dying for a sequel to “Snow White And The Huntsman.” C’mon don’t be shy….wait….nobody wants this? That’s what we thought. But hey, those international markets are more valuable than ever, and Universal did decently enough with the Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron starring movie (just under $400 million worldwide) that they might as well milk what they can out of this thing. Plans for this have been brewing for a while now, and while that once mooted 2015 date probably isn’t likely, potential directors are being rounded up.

Universal is now eyeing a 2016 release, with filming to begin once Chris Hemsworth is done his duty with “The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.” Could this be that mystery “event movie” Universal has already slotted for fall 2016? Perhaps…..
