Variety reports that the actor is in early talks to play a villain role in Sony and Marvel‘s "Spider-Man: Homecoming." The solo movie, featuring the relaunched webslinger played by Tom Holland (who will be making his first appearance in "Captain America: Civil War" — our review) already has plenty of rumors swirling around it. Most recently, it was suggested that Vulture would be one of possibly a few villains in the movie. As fans know, Sam Raimi wanted to use the character in "Spider-Man 4" (played by John Malkovich), before the movie fell apart. The character was also rumored at one point for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" but that didn’t bear out either. All this to say, Keaton would make a pretty great Vulture if that’s indeed the case.
Jon Watts ("Cop Car") will direct and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is slated to open on July 7, 2017. Thoughts? Let us know below.
