Sometimes, movies can spend years being put together (ahem, Terrence Malick), while on the other hand, they can occasionally be knocked out in no time flat. Welcome, to "Writers," the indie flick which shot back in the spring, and is gearing up for a World Premiere at TIFF in the fall.
Starring Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Kristen Bell, Logan Lerman and Lily Collins, the indie dramedy centers around an author, his ex-wife and their kids. Here's the synopsis: An acclaimed writer, his ex-wife and their teenaged children come to terms with the complexities of love in all its forms over the course of one tumultuous year in Writers, the clever, funny, and touching tale of a fractured family trying to rediscover one another.
The film currently has Canadian distribution via Entertainment One, but has no stateside company just yet.
