Even though we're just a few short days from the Oscar hardware finally being handed out and everyone getting wasted at the Vanity Fair party (hey guys, where's our invite?), that doesn't mean there still isn't time to honor the nominess. And Mondo has provided a little preview of what they have in store.
The company have unveiled the first three posters in their Oscar series, with specially designed one sheets for Best Animated Feature "Paranorman," Best Picture contender "Les Miserables" and actors' powerhouse "The Master" (which has three nods for its lead cast, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams). The first two are fun, if expected illustrations that capture the spirt of those movies, while Laurent Durieux's effort for Paul Thomas Anderson's movie is ballsy, an appropriately head-trippy work that features a disembodied hand.
These are available to purchase starting Sunday, with Mondo teasing there will be more posters released during the awards ceremony.
