Caught up in the fever of the fall film festival announcements with lots of exciting new movies on the way, let’s not overlook that there are plenty of great movies that have already screened and will be released soon. Leading the pack, at least for us, is Denis Villeneuve‘s "Sicario," and another gritty trailer has landed for the movie.
Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, and Benicio Del Toro are the leading trio of this movie which dives over the border and details U.S. agents fighting a dirty battle against the drug war. Here’s the official synopsis:
In Mexico, SICARIO means hitman. In the lawless border area stretching between the U.S. and Mexico, an idealistic FBI agent (Emily Blunt) is enlisted by an elite government task force official (Josh Brolin) to aid in the escalating war against drugs. Led by an enigmatic consultant with a questionable past (Benicio Del Toro), the team sets out on a clandestine journey forcing Kate to question everything that she believes in order to survive.
"Sicario" opens on September 25th. Watch below.
