A sensation at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year where it scooped up awards for the film’s leads Tom Courtenay and Charlotte Rampling, the picture is now making its way to the art-house. The unique premise follows married couple Geoff and Kate Mercer, whose celebration of 45 years of marriage is shaken when Geoff’s long-dead girlfriend, Katya, who passed away in a tragic accident, has been discovered decades after the fact. This revelation tests the pair in a picture that our rave review described as nothing short of cinematic "open heart surgery."
