Watch: Anna Kendrick Sings About Love & Heartbreak In First Trailer For 'The Last Five Years'

The last Five Years, Anna Kendrick, Richard LaGraveneseIf you have any doubt that Hollywood is putting their eggs in Anna Kendrick‘s musical basket, her next few films say it all. She steps into Disney‘s fairy tale world this holiday season with "Into The Woods," gets back on campus next summer with "Pitch Perfect 2," and has "The Last Five Years" coming out of TIFF and into cinemas. And the first UK trailer for the latter has arrived.

Based on Jason Robert Brown‘s off-Broadway production, and adapted for the screen by writer/director Richard LaGravenese, the story follows the up-and-down relationship between budding actress Cathy (Kendrick) and rising writer Jamie (Jeremy Jordan), as it jumps back and forth through time, from the dizzying highs of love, to the depths of heartbreak. "The Last Five Years" arrives in 2015. No date has been set just yet.
