Look at them in that picture — they were both once so young…. It was on the set of "Rushmore" where Wes Anderson and Jason Schwartzman first crossed paths, and like many who come into the orbit of the director, they hit it off and continued to collaborate further, spending time togther on "Hotel Chevalier," "The Darjeeling Limited," "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and of course, this summer's "Moonrise Kingdom." And obviously, they are working together again.
"I'm going to be in it. Yes, I'm going to be in it. I'm playing Cousin Ben [referring to his 'Moonrise Kingdom' character]. No, I'm just kidding — wouldn't that be crazy? No, but I'm excited about it. I'm very excited about it. It's a beautiful movie," the actor told Movies. To recap, he joins Bill Murray, Jude Law and Ralph Fiennes in the cast with Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe and Owen Wilson among those rumored/expected to take part as well. No story details yet except that it's a Euro-set tale with a psychic of some kind in a supporting role. That's it. But holy sausage fest — are any actresses going to be in this?
Production begins this fall.
