Watch: Curiosity & Retribution In 2 New Clips From 'Django Unchained'

null"Django Unchained” is an insane mess in several ways, showing one of our great filmmakers unfocused and chaotic, attempting racial and political insight while also satiating his own cinephilia.
This is the most flat-out entertaining film of 2012.
"Django Unchained" might be called a love story or a comedy, but it’s not particularly funny or moving and it's terribly self-indulgent.

Those are the three different opinions our writers had on Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," an undoubtedly ambitious epic that's a western and slavery tale that also manages to find room for a Rick Ross song. Soon enough, you'll be able to judge for yourself, but until then, two new clips have arrived that highlight the performances in the film. In the first we see the enthusiastic Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) warn the freed slave Django (Jamie Foxx) to keep his focus on retrieving his wife, not on retribution. And in the second, we get a pretty nifty tete-a-tete between Django and slimy slave owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).

It's definitely worth it a moment of your time, so give a spin below and see it on Christmas Day. [IGN/Yahoo]
