Spoiler alert? Yet another “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” trailer is here and in case you didn’t already watch the lengthy, 4-minute Super Bowl trailer—which these mostly seems to be recut from with a couple of extra scenes tossed in—perhaps we should warn you that this seems to be giving up the game pretty early.
Indeed, some pretty big plot secrets and a major conspiracy seem to be revealed. By the looks of the trailer, Peter Parker’s scientist dad (Campbell Scott) that went missing/went on the run in the original film was holding a major Oscorp Industries company secret. “We can literally change the world,” Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) says to Peter. The trailer then shows flashes of the Dr. Octopus arms, the Green Goblin glider and enemy tools of that nature. So was/is Oscorp Industries building a super soldier army that Peter Parker is going to unveil and then it’ll turn against him? There’s only one way to find out.
