Watch: Trailer For Clark Gregg's Hollywood Satire 'Trust Me' With Sam Rockwell, Amanda Peet, Allison Janney & More

Killed off in “The Avengers,” and brought back to life for “Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Clark Gregg hasn’t had much time to rest from his superhero duties, but he did manage enough time to knock out a sophomore directorial effort with “Trust Me.” And after premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival last year, it’s now headed to theaters and the first trailer has arrived.

Featuring a pretty solid ensemble including Sam Rockwell, Amanda Peet, Allison Janney,  William H. Macy, Molly Shannon and Felicity Huffman, the Hollywood satire follows a down and out agent who discovers a 13 year-old who could be the next big thing. And as he navigates bringing her to the limelight, he realizes she may not be everything she appears to be. And for us, the movie doesn’t quite come together, with our review noting that “the inevitable redemption for a complete asshole” ultimately “rings false.”

But you can see for yourself when “Trust Me” arrives in theaters on June 6th and On Demand and iTunes on May 6th. Watch below.
