Watch: Trying To Kiss A Teenage Assassin Is Dangerous In New U.K. Trailer For 'Hanna'

We have to admit, the first trailer for Joe Wright‘s “Hanna” didn’t do much for us, not really delivering on the ‘Bourne’-esque vibe we were expecting, but the new UK trailer plays much better and points to something perhaps slightly different than the Matt Damon franchise.

Starring Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, Olivia Williams and Jason Flemyng, the story centers on a 16-year-old (Ronan) who was raised by her father (Bana) to be a coldhearted killing machine and then connects with a French family who look to help ease her into a more conventional life. Blanchett plays the CIA spy agent trying to track her down. This newest trailer has all the requisite ass-kicking we’ve been looking for, but even more intriguing, the bits with Hanna trying to fit into to regular life are pretty strong. So yeah, our impression of the forthcoming film just went up a couple of notches.

Featuring a score by the Chemical Brothers (the bits in the trailer sound ace), “Hanna” will land in theaters on April 8th. Trailer below. [MSN]
