You Look Like A Mexican Teenager: New Trailer For Lena Dunham’s HBO Series ‘Girls’

nullSo while the CW gears up the further adventures of Carrie Bradshaw in "The Carrie Diaries" with AnnaSophia Robb taking the lead, HBO is getting back in the game with "Girls," their new series aimed at young women. The divisive Lena Dunham is behind this one — producing, starring, writing and directing — but she's also got the power of Judd Apatow backing her up as well, also in a producing capacity. A new trailer for the show has dropped, and we're liking more and more of what we see.

This latest spot features a mix of stuff we've already seen, along with some new footage and unlike the twee factor of the previous trailer, this one seems a lot more balanced mixing the humor and heart that certainly bears the Apatow stamp. Dunham co-stars along with Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams as 20-something gals trying to make it in Manhattan, although in an atmosphere far more closely resembling reality than Carrie and her gals. We're digging the tone of this so far, and it does look like it's shaping up to be a winner.

The first three episodes will premiere for audiences at SXSW before the show rolls out on HBO on April 15th. Watch below.
