Watch: Nicolas Cage Is The White Ghost In New Trailer For 'Outcast' With Hayden Christensen

OutcastSo, Nicolas Cage and Hayden Christensen have made a movie set in Ancient China, and it’s the feature directorial debut of Nick Powell ("Resident Evil: Retribution," "The Three Musketeers"). It’s probably not a shock that the final result is a bit campy. You could take my word for it or just watch the new trailer below.

The story follows a princess and her brother who are forced to flee after the Emperor is murdered. But they find help from Arken, a knight seeking redemption after the brutality of the Crusades, and Gallain, a bandit on the silk road, with the duo teaming up to take on the bad guys who grabbed the throne. A few things to note: the accents used by Cage and Christensen are hilarious, "I am the white ghost!" deserves to enter the pantheon of great Cage-isms, and this movie looks pretty awful all around.

No word yet on a release date, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this just skips cinemas altogether. Watch below. [Schmoes Know]
