Watch: Josh Brolin Wields A Knife In New Clip From Spike Lee’s ‘Oldboy’

Oldboy

We all know that “Oldboy” is famous for it’s rather brutal action scenes with nothing more than a man and his hammer, but that doesn’t mean other implements can’t be just as harmful. And sometimes you just have to use what’s close by to get the job done, as Josh Brolin’s character tries to do in this new clip from Spike Lee‘s remake.

Hitting the bar like we all would after being imprisoned for two decades, forced to eat cheap takeout food and watch cable TV, Josh Brolin’s character, Joe Doucett, receives a mysterious call and he doesn’t get a reply when he picks up. Redialing the number, it turns the call is coming from inside the bar. And no less, from the two biggest weirdos in the place, one of them a rather pipsqueak-voiced Sharlto Copley. Probably, not a coincidence right? Well, Joe grabs the closest weapon at hand and tries to take care of business.

As for what happens next, you’ll have to watch “Oldboy” on November 27th.
