At 78 years old, Woody Allen don’t quit. Continuing his run of one movie per year, his next picture,”Magic In The Moonlight,” is getting ready to hit theatres this summer, and always, the filmmaker is already on to his next project. We’re already stoked even though there’s no plot details (as always). Why?

Because Joaquin Phoenix is going to star. Deadline reveals the actor will be in Allen’s next movie. It will be his first time working with Allen, and it’ll be interesting to see what the pair cook up together. The actor’s past couple roles — “The Master” and “Her” — have been as widely different as they are complex. Will Allen utilize Phoenix’s brooding for a return to drama, or will we see the actor get a more lighthearted turn in one of the director’s rom-com-ish efforts.

Time will tell. So if you don’t like “Magic In The Moonlight” when it drops on July 25th, don’t worry, a new Allen effort is around the corner, starring Joaquin Phoenix.
