Matthew McConaughey Holds A Lunar Lander In First Image From Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar'

Interstellar

As we (impatiently) wait for the new trailer for Christopher Nolan‘s “Interstellar” that’s currently only playing in Washington, D.C., producer Emma Thomas teases what it will all mean. “The trailer highlights a line of dialogue from the film; ‘Mankind was born on Earth; it was never meant to die here,” producer Emma Thomas tells EW. “It emphasizes…mankind’s destiny in the universe.”

Something to consider as the print version of the magazine has unveiled the first image from the movie (via IMDb). As usual, it leaves us with more questions than answers with Matthew McConaughey holding a Lunar Lander and looking deep in thought. We do know the movie will involve time and black holes and relativity, but how it all plays out Nolan will likely keep close to the vest until he’s damn well ready to show it off. And he’s got time with the highly anticipated film not due to drop until this fall.

So, take a look below, which contains a few more details. And get ready to lift off on November 7th.
