Basically, "Terminator Genisys" is akin to stripping a car down to the frame, and rebuilding it into something new. And that has a lot of fans of the franchise worried. With the film due to open in less than a month, there is still a lot of caution and confusion among moviegoers about just what to make of this latest installment in the series. So Paramount is bringing out the big guns to hopefully seal the deal and get people to buy tickets.
James Cameron, who was consulted ever since the fifth "Terminator" film started brewing, steps in front of the camera to deliver his praise for the movie, which he considers to be the followup to "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." And he also confirms that John Connor goes bad this time around, and folks, it’s not a spoiler when Paramount makes it a central part of their marketing campaign. And I bet it’s the information we find out in the first act of the movie, so just chill.
