So, are we experiencing a little Western renaissance? This fall we’ve already got “Bone Tomahawk,” “The Hateful Eight” and “The Revenant” riding over the horizon, and not far behind is “Jane Got A Gun.” Natalie Portman’s troubled western has already been released in France, but the rest of the world is waiting, and a new trailer has arrived for the picture’s UK bow.
Joel Edgerton, Ewan McGregor, Noah Emmerich, Rodrigo Santoro and Boyd Holbrook join Portman in the tale of a woman (Portman) who asks her ex-lover (Edgerton) for help in order to save her outlaw husband (Emmerich) from a gang out to kill him. But things aren’t as simple as they seem.
The Gavin O’ Connor ("Warrior," "Pride And Glory") directed movie is still without a firm U.S. release date, but The Weinstein Company will get into cinemas sometime in 2016. Watch below.
