If Zack Snyder does one thing well, it’s cut trailers. Or, he has great people cutting trailers for him. "Watchmen" and "Man Of Steel" both had memorable promos, with great imagery, use of music, the the promise of something epic and different. And it speaks to how well Snyder does marketing that this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, the narrative around "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" seemed to turn on a dime with a big, juicy new trailer. However, sustaining that buzz until next spring is going to be the tricky part.
At any rate, Comic-Con hangover is in effect and you might a bit of hair of the dog, so here’s a couple more snaps from BVSDOJ. One is a magazine scan from Entertainment Weekly (via Comic Book Movie) with Henry Cavill in his Superman duds, Snyder’s photography bud Clay Enos has a dusty snap of Ben Affleck’s goggles wearing Batman. And perhaps most interesting of all, is some interesting continuity between "Man Of Steel" and a scene from "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" trailer with Bruce Wayne watching General Zod make mayhem from the street.
‘Batman v Superman’ opens on March 25, 2016.
