A Look Behind The Future: Watch A Vintage, 20-Minute Look At The Making Of ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ From 1968

What additional mysteries can this movie hold 45 years later? 

Recently, a vintage featurette entitled “A Look Behind the Future” made its way to YouTube and it is another breathtaking exploration of this sci-fi opus. The 23-minute featurette explores Kubrick’s interest in space and the copious research and expert opinions consulted to create the finished product. It’s an intriguing perspective on the movie as well as a fascinating time capsule for what the future could hold.
