Yep, Brie Larson has signed on to star in “The Good Luck Of Right Now,” the latest from filmmakers Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. Adapted by Mike White (“School Of Rock,” “Enlightened“), it’s another story of damaged individuals dealing with various pains in their lives, and we’d expect no less from author Matthew Quick. The Wrap reveals that Larson will play the love interest of the lead character, a librarian who believes she was abducted by aliens. No word yet on when this will get rolling, but apparently this is a “priority” for DreamWorks.
Meanwhile, after some minor turmoil, the “Entourage” movie is for real and happening, and has added Billy Bob Thornton to the cast. The actor joins “the boys”—Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven—with THR revealing he’ll play “a billionaire cowboy turned film financier who puts up money for the Dracula movie and sends his 20-something son to L.A. to keep an eye on his investment.” Wait, Vinnie Chase is going to make a Dracula movie? LOL. Production is underway.
