First Poster & Images For Keanu Reeves’ Directorial Debut 'Man Of Tai Chi'

nullWith the “Matrix” and “Point Break star having played it low-key for quite a while, there is finally some news on one of the two forthcoming movies featuring Keanu Reeves, about which little has been seen thus far. We’ll have to wait to see whatever the much-delayed samurai epic “47 Ronin” turns out to be, but it seems the actor’s directorial debut is getting ready to seeing the light of day with new posters and images released today.

Man Of Tai Chi”  is a joint Chinese and American production, with Reeves starring alongside Tiger Hu Chen (one of the stuntmen on “The Matrix” films) and Iko Uwais, of “The Raid” fame. It’s a contemporary story about a young martial artist and won’t be as ponderous and gentle as the art itself, since Reeves has long been promising lots and lots of action. The actor presumably knows his way around a few fight scenes so perhaps it’s a natural extension into putting them together in his own movie.

Granted, these previews aren’t the most exciting thing in the world, but the proof of concept video that dropped last year showed that Reeves’ ambitions are pretty high and he gets into it on the technical side of things. No release details yet, but we reckon that might change very soon. [Bleeding Cool]nullnullnullnull
