Got a Tip?

‘Girls’ Star Adam Driver Says ‘The F Word’ With Zoe Kazan & Daniel Radcliffe

nullTo say that we're fans of "Girls" star Adam Driver would certainly be dead accurate. Granted, we've only really seen him on the HBO show, but the actor impressed us immensely with a continually surprising and nuanced turn on Lena Dunham's program, and we've already placed him earlier this year on our On The Rise list of TV actors due to break out into bigger things. And it looks like we're not the only ones who've had an eye on him.

Variety reports that Driver has joined Zoe Kazan and Daniel Radcliffe in the comedy "The F Word." Based on the play "Cigars and Toothpaste" by T.J. Dawe and Michael Rinaldi, the film will find Radcliffe playing Wallace, a young man who meets the lovely Chantry (Kazan) at a party, but she has a long term boyfriend, so he hides his attraction for her, and the pair try their hand at a friendship instead. Elan Mastai ("The Samaritan") penned the script that landed on the Black List way back in 2008, and Michael Dowse ("Goon," "Fubar") is directing. As for Driver? He won't stray too far from the wheelhouse he's established on "Girls," playing Radcliffe's "brash, ethically dubious confidant" — sounds about right.

Production begins in a couple weeks in Toronto, and the second season of "Girls" starts airing in January. All we can say is, more Driver is definitely a good thing.
