New 'Arrested Development' Episodes Begin Shooting In 4 Weeks

Too good to be true? Nope, it's happening. The long-awaited return of the cult sitcom "Arrested Development" is right around the corner. Or at least, production is about to start, and no, this isn't a pipe dream or wishful thinking. "Taken at AD mission control, today! All systems are go. Filming for the new episodes starts in four weeks. Woo!," Jason Bateman tweeted last night, posting a photo of himself, producer/narrator Ron Howard and series creator Mitch Hurwitz.

Ron Howard also jumped into the fray, posting a photo of Mitch Hurwitz in the writer's room. "Arrested Development for Netflix. IT'S ALIVE. This is what the writer's room looks like," he said. OK, so be excited, but keep your pants on. New episodes of "Arrested Development" won't air on Netflix until sometime in 2013 (there is shooting and editing to do of course). But the good news is that rather than waiting week to week for each new episodes, Netflix will unveil all the new episodes at once. Steve Holt! (we hope).
